ABOUT US

At the direction of the Holy Spirit, the Kingdom of God Christian Center has been ordained of God to meet the spiritual, physical, emotional and social needs of our congregants and of the Austin/Round Rock Metroplex.

Our primary emphasis is worship and evangelism. We are called to make ready a people prepared for the Lord. We live under the mandate from the master who spoke to Pastor Moore through the following passage, “For he shall be great in the sight of the Lord, and shall drink neither wine nor strong drink, even from his mother’s womb. And many of the children of Israel shall he turn to the Lord their God. And he shall go before him in the spirit and power of Elias, to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, the disobedience to the wisdom of the just, to make ready a people prepared for the Lord.” (Luke 1:15-17)

Our second emphasis is to bring new converts to spiritual maturity through the teaching of the word of God. New converts are to be trained, equipped and released to do the work God had given them to do. (Ephesians 4:11-12)

Thirdly, our emphasis is pastoral care; that include visitations, Christian counseling, sacerdotal acts (weddings, funerals, etc.) caring for the sick in their homes, and preparing and serving meals for families in times of crisis or bereavement. (Luke 4:18 / James 1:27)

The key to accomplishing this God-given vision will be you, the member. You have been placed in the body of the Kingdom to supply of your time, talent and financial support. Therefore, let us labor together for Christ so that when it is all said and done, the Master may say to us as a church family, “Well done my good and faithful servants.”
