ASSURANCE OF SALVATION
You have an assurance of salvation when you repent of your sins and accept Jesus Christ into your life as Lord and Savior.
The word church comes from the Greek word “ecclesia”, which mean to call out. The Church, which is the bride of Christ is literally those who are called out – saved and now have a covenant with the Lord. Hebrews 10:25 says, “Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is.”
As a believer, prayer expresses the fact that we are in communion with God. Effective communication is two ways – The Word of God to us and our Prayers to our Heavenly Father. One without the other is ineffective or one sided.
God has called every believer to fulfill the Great Commission of soul winning. In Mark 16:15 God said, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.
Giving of your time, talent and treasures (tithes and offering) to The Lord for the support of the ministry.
It symbolizes the end of your old life and the beginning of your new life in Christ. It is being fully submerged in water signifying the death, burial and resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
